Listening well takes courage. It asks for our vulnerability. It calls us to shed our self-interests, be present, and genuinely care for the one before us.

ON COURAGEOUS LISTENING

Listening is a deep and wide practice; one where we can all get better no matter how long we've been practicing.

To know our purpose, we must listen. To step further into our potential, we must listen. To deepen our relationships and connections, we must listen. To lead well, we must listen.

Listening is a muscle to stretch courageously and consistently.

THE POWER OF COURAGEOUS LISTENING

Close your eyes for a brief moment. Consider its power.

1. Who in your life or work is an absolutely terrible listener? What makes their listening terrible?

2. Who in your life or work is an absolutely fantastic and transformative listener? What makes their listening so fantastic? How does it transform you as you share with them?
