Hello Courageous One,

May this find you warm, safe, and entering into this new month with courageous intention and action. Take a moment to ask yourself:

Where do I focus most of my energy — on my desires or my challenges?

Courageous intention is about giving more energy and focus to what we desire rather than the challenges in our way.

Challenges are real for all of us. Yet our desires are real too. As we settle into February, let’s release the highlights and lowlights of January and begin again — recommit to our practice of courage.

COURAGEOUS INTENTION

  • How will I focus more of my energy on what I desire?

  • What will I let go and leave in January?

  • How will I move through challenges with honesty and courage?

COURAGEOUS ACTION

  • How will I fall in love with myself and my own story this February?

  • What courageous action will I take to learn more about myself?

  • What does a courageous February feel like to me?

A MINI PRACTICE

When challenges arise in our lives, we commonly view them through portrait lens. It’s pretty human to look at challenges in an up-close-and-personal sort of way. That said, we can often miss the full picture. We can miss the raw goodness hidden beneath the unravelling of a challenge.

This month, as challenges arise, I invite you to zoom out to landscape lens to take in the full view. What truth resides there? What goodness is emerging from within this hardship?

Then take courageous action from this landscape view. When we make decisions from this vantage point, we invest our time, energy, currency, and love in a more empowered way.
