A Thanksgiving Hello

A THANKSGIVING HELLO

Hello, hello!! Tonyalynne here!

Happy Thanksgiving season to each one of you, whether you’re brand new to this community or you’ve been here all along. For everyone new here, I want to introduce myself too.

I am an intuitive coach & the founder of The Courage Practice, which offers personal & professional development from a deeper place, specializing in change & transition of every kind.

I spend my days creating safe, empowering space for brilliant souls to make friends with their courage & intuition, step beyond their comfort zone, & start living, leading, & loving the way they really desire.

Sometimes I post the occasional headshot & wax poetic about what life is like when we come out of the shadows, choose our courage over doubt & expectations, begin doing the things we’re here to do, & being who we were born to be.

And most of the time, I rumble with my own shadows & lean into raw courage while navigating chronic pain & inflammation from a life-changing spine injury.

I spent the first half of my life literally running from courage. The second half has been about softening into its practice. I love every bit. It’s honestly so good & brutal all at once. Even the days in the trenches. I’ve known great joy & pain simultaneously. I’ve known great love & loss too. From mountaintop moments of achievement to deep valleys of homelessness, financial ruin, and isolation, here’s what I know to be true:

WE ARE NOT THE SUM TOTAL OF OUR LIFE EXPERIENCES. WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US & FOR US. HOW WE RESPOND TO OUR EXPERIENCES IS WHERE THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION LIES.

A coach for 16 years, I intuitively partner with clients to make friends with their darkness as much as their light, embed courage into their daily lives through tangible practice, & awaken to the expansion & ease that awaits when their intuition becomes the guiding compass of their life, work, and relationships. Think life & leadership development with a deeply intuitive twist!

Every ounce of this business continues to expand my heart. The stories I bear witness to from clients everyday amaze me. Sometimes the stories bring me to my knees too. Partnering with fantastic humans to move beyond what’s comfortable to claim their power & purpose is nothing short of incredible. There really are no words for it, friends. I’m radically grateful.

I’m 42, a spitfire redhead, equal parts curious & stubborn, dog mom to Ollie, and a scribbling femme who saves way too many quotes on her phone. I’m also learning how to play again after spending my 20s & 30s in hospitals & wheelchairs. Walking is a deep gift every day of the week and the current center of my universe. I’m a fierce advocate for equality in all its forms & desire to do what I can to help cultivate a world where everyone can breathe deeply & freely.

I BELIEVE THERE IS NOTHING MORE HOLY THAN BEING FREE.

Words simply don’t capture this year and all it has asked of us. 2020 has been unrelenting while also brilliantly illuminating hard truths & realities which must be named for our collective healing to begin.

  • May we all unlearn what keeps us from living the depth of our goodness & truth out loud.

  • May we all use whatever talent & privilege we have to mend all we have broken between us.

  • May we learn how to pull together more consciously.

  • May we be reckless with our gratitude & reserved with our judgment.

  • May we work fervently to cultivate the holiness of equity for everyone.

  • May we begin to see each other again.

  • May we be willing to courageously look inward & see ourselves too.

Thank you for being here in this community! Stick around, ask questions. Follow The Courage Practice on your favorite social media, which can be so life-giving when we actually engage with each other. Let’s connect here and help each other see the best in ourselves and one another as we all stretch in the direction of the New Year.

With love from my heart to yours this Thanksgiving season,
