To the One Who Wants to Feel Alive Again

It’s May—my birthday month! As I step into a new year of life, I’m sharing something deeply personal with you:

My birthday wish for YOU, friend.

This wish isn’t about surface-level joy or the kind of happiness that comes from external circumstances. No. This is about igniting the fire within you and embracing the life you were born to live.

Dear friend,

Let’s not waste any more time pretending we’re waiting for the “right moment” to make a change. There’s no perfect day, no neatly-tied bow on this transformation. The truth?

You’re already burning.

And that fire? It’s the only thing that’s ever been real in this damn world.

Choose the hard path.

It’s the one that sets your spirit on fire, that makes you feel everything—the good, the raw, the painful, the beautiful, the blood-boiling, earth-shaking kind of truth. It’s the path where you stop trying to fit into a box and you let yourself burst through the seams.

You think choosing the familiar (or more comfortable) road will bring you peace—but it won’t. It will just numb you. And what’s the point of living half-alive when you were born to feel everything? To taste every drop of passion while staying powerfully grounded, to let yourself be so fully alive that your heart can’t help but explode with every decision you make?

The hard path isn’t just hard. It’s orgasmic.

You think I’m joking? Look closer.

The real kind of satisfaction—the kind that makes your body ache with hunger—doesn’t come from playing small or from waiting for permission. It comes from burning everything down and rebuilding with what you choose.

Not what’s been handed to you. Not what’s been expected of you. Not coloring within the lines.

But what your soul is craving.

This path asks you to forgive yourself for all the ways you’ve held yourself back. It asks you to stop pretending you can outrun the mess, the discomfort, the tears, and the sweat of transformation. And once you do, once you allow yourself to feel the full intensity of your own becoming, you’ll realize:

This is the only way.

You won’t find real joy by tiptoeing around your real desires. You won’t find fulfillment by staying safe and waiting for the stars to align. No. The joy, the aliveness—it comes when you stop running. It comes when you choose the brutal path, the passionate, the uncomfortable, the messy.

So, here’s the thing: Choose the hard. Choose what truly turns you on.

Choose the burning that’s going to leave you breathless. Choose the path that will bruise you, leave its mark on you. Choose the hard that will strip you bare, expose your truth, and force you to step into your full, unbridled power. When you do, you’ll realize:

This is where aliveness really begins.

And no, it won’t be easy. It will be intense. It will be raw. It will break you open. And in the end, you’ll know: You chose yourself. You chose the life you were always meant to have. The one that calls you forward. The one that makes you feel everything.

So what’s it going to be?

The familiar road that keeps you safe in a cage of comfort? Or the fiercely hard, wild, fucking liberating path that asks absolutely everything of you…and gives you everything in return?

You get to choose.
